Are you aware of the ‘Double Holiday’ this coming Friday and Monday?
It’s Good Friday on April 10th, and Easter Monday on April 13th.
It’s a fact in history that a Jewish Carpenter, called JESUS of Nazareth, was nailed to the Cross, and that He rose again on the THIRD DAY (although some dispute this).
His Death and Resurrection gave the world Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday and Easter Monday!
But, there were series of remarkable events that led to His Death and Resurrection – The Week that Changed the World!
On Saturday (last Saturday), JESUS was anointed at Simon the leper’s house by Mary, and JESUS said, “…..She has kept/done this for the day of My Burial.”
On Sunday, a great crowd came to Bethany to see and Praise JESUS as He prepared to enter Jerusalem, i.e. Palm Sunday.
On Monday, JESUS entered Jerusalem, visited the temple and drove traders away from there, and later returned to Bethany.
On Tuesday (TODAY), On the way from Bethany to Jerusalem, JESUS cursed the fig tree.
Let’s ARISE and curse the scourge called coronavirus to its roots in JESUS Name. “Coronavirus, we, the CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD curse you to your roots and origin. Dry up and wither, in JESUS Name.
Amen!”
On Wednesday,
on the way to Jerusalem, the disciples saw the withered fig tree, and marveled. You and I shall MARVEL and REJOICE at the sudden turn of events henceforth, in JESUS Name.
Amen!
JESUS also predicted that in two days he would be crucified at the time of the Passover.
On Thursday,
JESUS and his disciples prepared the Passover lamb, and they had their seder meal together. JESUS shared heartfelt words with His disciples and offered an intercessory prayer in their behalf. They arrived at the Garden of Gethsemane, where JESUS suffered in agony awaiting what was to come. Later that night JESUS was betrayed and arrested.
On Friday,
JESUS was tried by the Sanhedrin, Pilate, Herod Antipas, and Pilate again. He was led to the Cross and crucified at 9 a.m. and died at 3 p.m. and was buried later that day.
JESUS died at the time when the Passover lambs were being sacrificed as he had predicted.
On Saturday,
JESUS’ body was in the tomb during the Sabbath, and the Pharisees hired Roman guards to keep watch of the tomb.
On Sunday,
CHRIST was RESURRECTED from the dead. His was the FIRST of many resurrections to come, in which it was a type of FIRST FRUITS offering. (First fruit offerings were made on the day after the Sabbath.)

Hallelujah! JESUS is ALIVE forevermore!
This Week, like that WEEK, over 2,000 years ago, is SIGNIFICANT, and it could very well be the WEEK THAT CHANGES the world again!
Magnify JESUS! It is the HOLY WEEK!
SHALOM.
