Are you redeemed? Are you truly free from sin? Have you been washed in the blood of the lamb? Are you truly a child of God?
What does it mean to be redeemed?
It means been delivered completely from sin. The main reason Jesus came to the earth and died for your sin is to deliver you from sin, which man was born into due to the sin of Adam and Eve, the first men on Earth, created. Because of this sin, every man is automatically born into sin.
Romans 5:12:
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Glory to God for the gift of Jesus”.
Romans 5:17-19:
“For if by one man’s offence, death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
It is very important that you know that you are no longer under the law of sin again and that you have overcome sin and you ought to walk in the reality.
Steps to being redeemed
- confess your sin; and
- accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and be washed in His blood.
A redeemed person is forever free from the slavery of the devil and won’t go back to his vomit, he or she is always cautious of not going back to sin.
