In whatever situation or circumstances you are/ find yourself, you should always learn to thank God. God inhabits the praises of his people.
Psalms 22:3: “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
Thanksgiving is one of the reasons that will make God wants to do more. Have you prayed and it seems like your prayer is not working? Then, I advise you to try praise.
The Lord our God is a father full of mercies and compassion, He wants his people to thank Him for that which he has done so that he can do more.
Like your physical parents will buy you gifts and want you to appreciate them, so do your father in heaven
NB:- He that gives thanks for little will receive more.
The major reason why God called David a man after His heart is because of his heart of praise. David was so wise that he knows the password of God and he uses it always.
NB:- your Thanksgiving must come from a sincere heart, you shouldn’t honor Him with your mouth and your heart is far away, the lord detests that.
Matthew 15:8: “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
Thank Him for that which he has done, thank Him always.
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
The Lord is set to do more, be grateful and never forget that a thanks that is not given from a sincere heart and truth are not acceptable.
